Robin Schulz and Erika Sirola – Speechless (Official Video)

Do you believe in love at first sight? One minute, you’re walking down the street, the next, you’re completely taken aback by a beautiful stranger. Most of these encounters come and go without a second thought, but some of those faces stick with us through the night, haunting with the possibility of something more.

Robin Schulz’s latest, “Speechless,” is a bright and bubbly ode to such encounters. Singer Erika Sirola brings those powerful moments to life, weaving the details of sudden romance with charm.

The music video really shines, too, as it tells the story of one man’s tireless effort to catch a woman’s attention. Shot in a street food restaurant in Mumbai, India, our hapless hero even breaks into synchronized Bollywood-style dance, but will it do him any good? It’s colorful and adorable. You’re sure to break into a few audible chuckles.

“Speechless” is a warm and fuzzy house-pop tune that goes down smooth and easy. Look out for Schulz as he plays both a customer and the head chef in the video below. This article originally appeared in Billboard.

Ellie Goulding, Diplo, Swae Lee – Close To Me (Official Video)

The real world sucks. Let’s sell the kids a fantasy, and nothing says “everything you ever asked for” like Ellie Goulding and Swae Lee finessin’ heavy in lush palace gardens, draped in expensive looks.

We don’t need a visual to groove to the pair’s “Close to Me.” Diplo collaborated on the beat, though he doesn’t appear in the video, which is only a little strange since he’s doing the whole professional model thing now. Honestly, who needs him when Goulding and Lee are looking like swagged-out royalty? We want to run through gorgeous architecture while the wind blows in our designer sleeves, too.

“Close To Me” is seemingly the beginning of a string of songs to come from the UK singer. She tweeted back in September that a fourth album may be imminent. Is this the lead single of our dreams? It’s certainly the look of them. Watch “Close To Me” below. This article originally appeared in Billboard.

Sabrina Carpenter – Sue Me (Official Music Video)

Remember the scene in Legally Blonde where Elle Woods, fresh off being dumped by dumb Warner, wallows in bed while scarfing chocolates? That’s basically where Sabrina Carpenter’s new “Sue Me” video picks up, complete with an all-pink color scheme and a tiny dog (only this time, it’s a black pug instead of Elle’s trusty chihuahua, Bruiser).

The Legally Blonde influence seeps into the entirety of Sabrina’s playful vid, following the singer as she snaps out of her pity party (thanks in part to BFF Joey King), decks herself out in hot pink threads, and heads to a college campus to plot her domination. There’s even a scene in a pool reminiscent of Elle’s classic Harvard admission tape, and in an undeniably meta twist for a song called “Sue Me,” Sabrina’s newfound confidence eventually takes her to a literal courtroom.

There’s no dramatic revelations about pool boys and perms, but there’s plenty of swagger as Sabrina belts the bubbly hook: “So sue me for looking too pretty tonight / Wearing your favorite color under the lights / For moving on, doing everything right.” This article originally appeared in MTV

Markus Schulz & Emma Hewitt – Safe From Harm (Official Music Video)

Placing the spotlight on song-centric trance, today sees Markus Schulz unveil the first track from his new capsule, ‘Safe From Harm’.

‘Safe From Harm’ has him on a first time studio-connect with Australia’s Emma Hewitt – a singer/songwriter who has vocally defined the music of many a producer, Chris Lake, Tiësto, Dash Berlin and Cosmic Gate included.

‘Safe From Harm’ intuitively finds the equilibrium between Emma’s resolute vocals & heart-on-sleeve lyrics and the diffused piano & more vertically inclined synths of Markus’ rapturous production.

‘Safe From Harm’ represents the first of five recordings, which collectively will comprise Markus’ new-season-embracing ‘In Bloom’ EP’.

A release counterpart to his now annual Global DJ Broadcast In Bloom special, the show is one of his four yearly concept mixes. Alongside the Sunrise, Afterdark and Classics Showcases, each channels the vibe and divines the essence of the prevailing season. Spring’s In Bloom’s broadcast places the focus exclusively on vocal trance, while the EP tightens the emphasis again, zeroing in on the talents of female electronic music singers & songwriters.

Essential spring listening, the Global DJ Broadcast’s In Bloom special airs Thursday, April 19th, with the full EP dropping the following day, April 20. This article originally appeared in EDM Sauce

SOFI TUKKER – Batshit (Official Video)

There’s a lot happening in “Batshit,” the new music video by New York duo Sofi Tukker. Set in the desert, it lives up to its title — and serves as the perfect antidote for the cruelties this endless winter is inflicting on everyone’s wardrobes. All the looks (heavy on hot pants, neon, and halters) will make you want to stash your parka.

Sofi Tukker, who sometimes perform songs in Portuguese, received acclaim last year with their slinky, breakout single “Best Friend,” which you probably recognize from an iPhone commercial. For “Batshit”, Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern wanted to lean into the title and channel raw, crazy fun.

Cue stylist Olivia Perdoch, who whipped up custom platforms for the six-seven Halpern and coaxed Hawley-Weld into “whole new worlds” fashion-wise.

Hawley-Weld’s looks include a red sequin Cheng jumpsuit, worn as she shreds her guitar atop a mountain. Although she says this was her “favorite video shoot of all time” because “I felt like myself,” she also stepped out of her comfort zone by embracing pieces like the white, over-the-knee Okoko & Abel boots. “I am totally new to heels,” she told the Cut. “The way I end up walking in them feels totally powerful.”

Essentially, “Batshit” is a wild, metallic-tinged ode to bad decisions and late nights featuring gorgeous textiles and supporting appearances by a neon lasso and a hatchet. This article originally appeared in The Cut.
