Alesso & Anitta – Is That For Me (Sylvain Armand Remix) [Official Video]

The latest record titles of Alesso had been quite disparaged by his fans for his turn to Pop music. ‘Is That For Me‘ with Anitta was one of them, and as often with Pop releases, remixes are expected to fully enhance the potential of the title.

After an interesting remix of 3Lau last month, it’s the one of KO:YU that shouldn’t go without a notice. Without revolutionizing the original, KO:YU is giving back a little pep for those who found the title indifferent by accelerating the tempo and enhancing the whole track with a real beat, a little more impacting.

You will also find in this remix pack out via Warner Music Group, another remix of French Sylvain Armand, quite qualitative.

Dua Lipa – IDGAF (Official Music Video)

English singer Dua Lipa dropped the video for her latest single “IDGAF” early Friday morning (Jan. 12).

The clip, which took a whopping 22 hours to shoot, finds the “New Rules” crooner battling a darker, more empowered version of herself with Lipa visualizing the internal struggle one faces through her hot and cold outfit color choices and interpretive dancing.

IDGAF” Director Henry Scholfield described the meaning behind the video in a statement saying their goal was to, “embody the sense of empowerment in the track, whilst going beyond the literal breakup context,” before adding that they “had in mind a visual of the internal struggle, showing the two sides of Dua’s emotive state, like an argument with someone you love. The strong Dua at first berating then eventually persuading her weaker alter ego that they both don’t give a f—.”

Lipa echoed Scholfield’s comments saying “This video is about your stronger and weaker side fighting with each other only to realize that self-love is what will help you overcome any negativity that comes your way.”

The video’s release is just the beginning of what is sure to be a big year for the singer who was named Spotify U.K.’s most streamed female artist of the year in 2017. Lipa will return to the U.S. in February to continue her sold out headlining Self-Titled tour followed by her headlining U.K. arena tour. Lipa echoed Scholfield’s comments saying “This video is about your stronger and weaker side fighting with each other only to realize that self-love is what will help you overcome any negativity that comes your way.” This article originally appeared in Billboard

Taylor Swift – End Game ft. Ed Sheeran, Future (Music Video)

After much anticipation, Tayor Swift finally released the video of his new single “End Game”, which includes collaborations with Ed Sheeran and Future. The good news is that as Taylor has no problem sharing his success, he also invited both artists to collaborate on the clip.

The video, which lasts 4 minutes and 10 seconds, was given by Joseph Kahn, who has directed seven videos of Taylor, including “Look What You Made Me Do”, “… Ready for It?” And “Bad Blood”.

The action takes place in three cities, Miami, London and Tokyo and in it you can see a luxurious yacht, scenes of fun parties, in addition to car rides and even aboard a double decker bus.

“End Game” is the third single from Reputation, Swift’s sixth studio album, which after its launch, in November last year, managed to place itself in 11th place on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 list.
The expectation around the video began to grow when Taylor and Ed sang the song together on December 2, during an iHeart Radio event. Then, the singer increased the suspense by releasing in social networks the teaser of the clip, which confirmed the participation of Sheehan and Future. This article originally appeared in Quién

Snails & Space Laces – Break It Down (feat. Sam King) [Official Music Video]

After more than two years of playing it out live and his fans salivating over this track, Canadian producer Snails, born Frédérik Durand, has finally released his collaboration with Spaces Laces & Sam King, called “Break it Down.”

Break it Down” combines a little bit of everything in a quick 2 minutes and 40 seconds. A bruising electro buildup with Sam King’s vocals, a gargantuan first dubstep drop, and of course, Snails’ patented and instantly recognizable vomitstep growls in the second drop. Released via OWSLA Records, you can expect to hear “Break it Down” plenty over the course of the rest of the year and beyond. Despite it’s lengthy shelf life as a well known ID, the track still absolutely bangs.… This article originally appeared in EDM Tunes

Tove Styrke – liability (demo)

Turning Lorde’s disastrously sad and introspective ballad “Liability” into a bouncing pop song is no easy feat, but Tove Styrke did just that.

Ahead of sharing the stage with New Zealand’s favourite daughter, Styrke has shared a demo version of “Liability”. She’s heading out on the road with Lorde in North America early next year, so it’s only fitting that this is the track she’s chosen to rework.

Following in same vein of her latest single “Mistakes”, Styrke’s love of vocoder is clear as she makes “Liability” into a sad song to which you could find yourself dancing on your own.

The demo is a pitstop for Styrke, who even teases upcoming new material with her cropped screenshot artwork. She’s spent the past year figuring out the mathematics of pop while finishing up what will become her third album. This article originally appeared in The Line Of Bestfit
