Hailee Steinfeld is not here for sexist stereotypes about women, and her latest song proves it. Her newest single is titled “Most Girls,” and it’s officially available today on Spotify and iTunes, so get ready to play it on repeat.
The song begins with a steady electro-pop beat and soon, Hailee’s catchy vocals come in, ready to smash through all the misconceptions people might have about girls today. She sings: “Some girls feel best in their tiny dresses / Some girls in nothin’ but sweatpants, looking like a princess / Some girls kiss new lips every single night,” letting her listeners know that all lifestyle choices are valid. The second verse emphasizes the same mantra, reminding us that “some girls like to keep their physique real private” while others “wear jeans so tight ’cause it feels so right.” But you can’t make assumptions about people based on their clothes, and there’s no “right” or “wrong” way to exist in your own body.
As the song builds to its upbeat hook, Hailee begins singing about “most girls,” emphasizing the universal thread that exists among all women: strength and power. “Most girls are smart and strong and beautiful / Most girls work hard, go far, we are unstoppable / Most girls, our fight to make every day / No two are the same.” Her song makes the important point that everyone is different, and our differences are what make us unique — but they’re also what make us strong as hell. You’ll want to be listening to this jam all weekend for a nonstop jolt of confidence — we know that’s what we’ll be doing. Full Review At Teen Vogue

Rapper Machine Gun Kelly and singer/actress Hailee Steinfeld have come together for a new song, “At My Best.”
The single that dropped Friday (March 17) has a strong string of vocals, plenty of guitar riffs and an exciting electric sound MGK has used in the past with his other songs. It marks MGK’s first single since his Billboard Hot 100 hit “Bad Things” featuring another starlet, Camila Cabello (which reached No. 4 on the chart).
“At My Best” sends a powerful message through its lyrics, telling listeners to “keep going’” and to fight for your dream, always staying true to yourself.
“Life is about making mistakes / It’s also about trying to be great,” MGK raps throughout out the song. “Do not let failure scare you away / I know you fed up, you fail, get up.” Review At Billboard

Fresh from dance floor filler ‘Need U’, Rhannes up the ante with a terrific two-pack. If it weren’t for upbeat mood lifter ‘Lose It’ and groove-heavy funk machine ‘Ü (Make Me Smile), you’d be lacking two unmatched party starters.

Things start off breezy enough, with Harris dialing down his jackhammer house throb for sleek California funk. At first blush, it could be a Daft Punk song, or a Katy Perry song. But then Frank Ocean starts singing, and “Slide” becomes nothing but a Frank Ocean song. His deadpan instantly adds shade and nuance to the dayglo surroundings, suggesting a weariness big pop rarely allows. The effect is magnetic and a little startling, like Jeff Tweedy rasping over a Dr. Dre beat. Frank’s infatuation with all things blurred and melancholy remains, with clarity only coming when it’s too late. Migos’ Quavo and Offset, known for twisting tongues over dank trap, come off like a winning insurance plan as they adapt to this more traditional pop showcase with ease. They can’t match Frank’s subtle radicalism, though. At this point, nobody can. Review by Ryan Dombal

“Love Incredible” is another sultry track from Norwegian-based producer Cashmere Cat. It features vocals from ex-Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello. The song is an anthem of a relationship where the person is dependent on her partners outrageously potent love. Review By raulmenciaaa
