Taylor Swift – …Ready For It? (BloodPop® Remix)(Lyric Video)

Last week, BloodPop released a bouncy remix of Taylor Swift‘s “…Ready for It?,” and now there’s a hypnotic lyric video to go along with it.

The video features a mix of footage from Taylor’s official “…Ready for It?” music video and some colorful, kaleidoscope-inspired visuals. Of course, we can’t forget robot Taylor and her horse, who also make a brief appearance in the video. Review Foun On Billboard

Sigrid – Strangers (Franky Rizardo & TIEKS Remixes)

Sigrid – Strangers (Franky Rizardo Remix)

Norwegian pop singer/songwriter Sigrid followed her elder siblings into the music business, signing a major-label deal with Island at just 20 years of age. Born Sigrid Solbakk Raabe on September 5, 1996 into a music-loving family and brought up in the sunny seaport of Ålesund in western Norway, about 300 miles from Oslo, she was the youngest of three siblings, each of whom had their own musical career. Her sister Johanne was a classically trained singer who had studied in Italy and Spain, while her brother Tellef had tasted indie success at home with his own band. Growing up influenced by classic artists like Joni Mitchell, Chet Baker, and Neil Young, she was taught to play the piano at an early age by her grandmother and guitar by her brother, and for ten years was a dancer, studying several different styles.

After a stint in her brother’s band, Sigrid turned her hand to songwriting and launched her solo career in October 2013 at the tender age of 16 with the single “Sun,” which saw her featured on NRK’s (Norwegian state television) hip tastemaker show Urørt (Untouched). Two further singles, “Two Fish” and “Known You Forever,” alongside spellbinding performances at several major European music festivals, sealed her reputation as a superbly talented songwriter and performer. With her rich, powerful, versatile voice and elfin good looks, she seemed ready-made for pop superstardom, and the ensuing bidding war finally saw her signed to Island. She delivered on the promise with her epic, anthemic debut single for the label, “Don’t Kill My Vibe,” released in February 2017. Co-written and produced by Martin Sjølie (Ella Henderson, Sam Smith), it was unveiled with much fanfare on BBC Radio 1, becoming their “Hottest Record in the World,” and immediately racked up millions of plays on streaming services. The equally successful single “Strangers” followed that November. ~ John D. Buchanan

Ina Wroldsen – Strongest (Alan Walker Remix)

We’re so pleased to have this artist back. Well – not that she’s ever been away really. Since we last heard from her as a singer, she’s still managed to grace these pages as the writer of one of THE best songs of 2017 – Clean Bandit and Zara Larsson’s ‘Symphony’. But now Ina Wroldsen returns as an artist in her own right. She’s just signed to Syco in the UK, and ‘Strongest’ is the first single. Reminiscent in sound to the Christmas number 1 she penned last year, ‘Rockabye’. And actually the lyrics could well be from the same perspective – though this time channeled towards the distant partner, rather than about the Mother and child. ‘Strongest’ deserves to be just as huge as the his Ina has been making for other people recently.

Today she releases a remix of the single by her fellow Norwegian superstar Alan Walker, which you can listen here. Review Found On Scandipop

Sigrid – Strangers (R3hab Remix)

Thank God we have Sigrid picking up the slack since Robyn is too busy remixing her old songs to put out any new music. There’s a muted Dancing on My Own pulse to Strangers that creeps up and up in the mix until it bursts into sharp relief in the irresistibly dancey chorus about a relationship that doesn’t quite live up to Hollywood standards. Since gracing us with the scathing chill-pop anthem Don’t Kill My Vibe, Sigird’s clearly been bingeing on Lorde and Haim. I, for one, am not complaining. Review Found On The Guardian

The Scottish singer, who cut her teeth on YouTube covers, has quickly
become recognizable for her magnetic sound, which blends pop and RnB. “The Best You Had
visual tells the story of lost of love, with Nina having to face the
prospect of continuing on without her former flame, before eventually
coming to terms with the fact their breakup meant his loss.

really wanted to make a video that brought to life the fear you have of
an ex moving on to someone better than you,” Nina says. “It represents
the way your imagination runs wild with all the possibilities. We used
two mirrored rooms, one with me and one with my ex and his new love
interest, showing all the things I feared. I wanted something that felt
uncomfortably real to fit the lyrics of the song.” Review By PaperMag

Schwarz – Home (Vimalavong Remix)

After delivering his striking song Home, talented producer SCHWARZ is now being remixed by talents as: CMC$ and Vimalavong. The result is the tender tune, featuring vivacious violins and touching chords, getting a solid treatment for the floor, with a louder drop while the vulnerable vocals remain intact. Wonderful remix!
