Entrancing in Chicane fashion, ‘Gorecki’ marks yet another timeless classic-to-be from the British grandmaster. Teeming with dreamy pads, smooth beats and infectious synth plucks, this mesmeric single is one no Trance fan can do without.

A brilliant interpretation of the well-known hit song, ‘Missing’ is as enchanting as a song can be. From Mark Sixma’s top-notch production to Emma Hewitt’s haunting vocals, this ‘90s classic turned Trance gem fully deserves its place at the top of your playlist.
Throughout her career, the tones of Romanian songstress Adina Butar have resonated far beyond the borders of her beloved Romania. Embracing the mantra of travel broadening the mind, her continual encounter with one city in particular inspired her towards lyrical composition, based on her own experiences in the municipal.
Her kindred spirit aligns with the city that never sleeps – New York City.
Already having an affection for the big apple, her interests spiked further through a live performance during the initial run of Markus Schulz‘s Watch the World album tour. Surrounded by friends and colleagues, her experience of being swept away by the NYC surroundings became too hard to ignore, and the piece New York City (Take Me Away) was born.
Aided with the soul-clenching melodic nature of Markus Schulz’s productions, New York City (Take Me Away) generated appraisal far beyond the United States east coast.
A wait which has been a year in the making is now over, and New York City (Take Me Away) is available now both in standalone form on Spotify, and as part of the Watch the World Deluxe album, available as an instant gratification track from September 22nd, prior to full album release on Friday October 6th.
“Waterfall” is a trance take on big room house with enough of future bass’ modern subtlety to placate contemporary ears. It’s dynamic, with classic highs and lows, but punchy with the kick drum when you need it most. ~Billboard

Cosmic Gate‘s brand new Materia album, Chapter. Two, signs in this very day with a first single, the ether-soaked haunt of Tonight. After Wake Your Mind’s Be Your Sound and Start To Feel’s Going Home, those wondering whether Materia’s odyssey would come to feature Emma Hewitt’s touch need wonder no more! Given its debut by Armin on ASOT821, the mood-infused beguiler comes packed with emotional reach throughout its verses, brilliantly balanced by elevation in its chorus.

From the initial beat it takes you on a beautiful journey, classic of true trance. The husky vocals of Ray Wilson are poetic and heart felt without being too overpowering and they set it apart from the trance pop that has strangled the genre.
The two major build-ups are strong and with execution into some body moving beats, with synths to delight your ears and a smoothness that screams from heaven. Everything about this track is uplifting, from start to finish it invokes you into a state of bliss that only good trance can give.
Side A holds the Riva mix which has a deeper, dirtier house feel to it, more mellow in comparison to Side B and with a faster acid sound coming through over the top. It moves more like a roller coaster with the breakdowns and vocals being less emphasised but equally as effective. It’s sweeping melodies are something reminiscence of Chicane’s “Strong in Love” track released ‘98 and although it is not the best of the two it sure would pack a punch on a normal club night out. The intro takes a while longer to build up and there is a second clear-cut breakdown toward the end of the track, making it an impressive lead up track to the next mix.
Subtle and yet enticing with it’s many layers and soaring synthesiser, both sides hold something that every trance addict wants in their vinyl box. One to make the crowd throw their head back and lap it up!! Review By ALIESHA KING
